Self-Compacting Concrete – Everflow SCC
Everflow SCC, an innovative brand of self-compacting concrete, eliminates the need for vibration during placement and compaction. This advanced concrete has the ability to flow under its own weight, seamlessly filling formwork and achieving complete compaction, even in the presence of densely arranged reinforcement. The resulting hardened concrete is characterized by its density, homogeneity, and equivalent engineering properties and durability when compared to traditional vibrated concrete.
Everflow SCC incorporates a higher fines content than conventional concrete, attributed to an increased binder content and a modified combined aggregate grading curve. These adjustments, coupled with specially formulated superplasticizers, yield a distinctive fluidity and inherent compactability in Everflow SCC. The product is easy to use, place and finish. Just a simple dapple.
Main usage is as a flooring product for internal domestic floors, house oversites, garage floors and also underfloor heating.
Fibres.
We can supply 3 types of fibres if requested adding to this mix. Micro polypropylene, Macro polypropylene and Steel fibres.
These fibres are evenly distributed within the load upon batching and mix throughout the journey to your site.
A Curing Agent can also be supplied to help with curing the mix. This will help reduce the chances of any hairline cracks that may appear when sprayed onto the finished EVERFLOW SCC shortly after the tamping process.
