What is the Cau Vang?

The Cau Vang is a major tourist attraction on the Ba Na Hills Resort in Da Nang, Vietnam. The pedestrian bridge spans 490 feet and is supported by two gigantic concrete hands dubbed ‘the hands of God’.
 

Who created the ‘hands of God’?

Lead designer, Vu Viet Anh, is the MD of the architectural firm behind the bridge, TA Landscape Architecture. He says of the Cau Vang that it should make ‘visitors feel as though they are strolling on a golden thread stretching across the hands of God.’ And it’s safe to say, he’s achieved just that.
 

Thousands of Visitors Per Day

The bridge just goes to show that concrete can be the key material of any grand design, given the know-how and the right grade of high-strength, reinforced concrete.
